  1. Ha ha ha! Thou art making thee wish "Amish Paradise" was on the olde I-pod! And perhaps it shall be before the day is done.

  5. Is there off-track betting for this type of event? Because I could really get into that shit (no pun intended).

  6. If you're starting in Red Lion, pick me up, I'll be the navigator! ;)

We could also make a couple of other stops... there's always Bird In Hand and Paradise... and you could have yourself a good ole piece o' shoo fly pie. I don't eat that crap, but you know, I'm just sayin', you could if you wanted to.

  7. The Amish were SERIOUSLY screaming for help when they named those towns.
It's like they were speaking in code.

  8. I believe "Red Lion" is associated with "Intercourse" ;-)

I believe "West Chester" is associated with "Blue Ball" ;-)

    Use that information as necessary.

  9. You and I have a lot in common: midwest, beards, crappy cars dying on us while driving home from school and a tendency to end sentences talking about Blue Ball, PA.

  11. That picture is awesome. I only hope for your sake that you haven't angered the great and powerful Zibbs by mocking his beloved West Chester.

  12. Would each of the buggies be considered "1 horsepower"?

  13. There is a Pittsburgh-based musical called Amish Burlesque

which has such fabulous musical number as "Take the Horse to Intercourse" and "Harvest Queen." It is hilarious.

  21. Callista - I know she's evil, that's the fun part. If she was as goody-goody as she looks, then what fun would that be? :-)

    Looking forward to Friday's dinner.
