It's All Relative – Please Do Not Be Eating

For those of you who think that your old buddy Scope may be a little odd, and that his family shakes their collective heads at some of the things he does, let me introduce you to my cousin Mike.

And his friend, Ginger.

Mike-01 To answer your questions:

  1. Yes. That's a real goat's head.
  2. Yes. It's hanging from a tree outside his house. It has been there since last fall.
  3. Eventually, once it is defleshed, it will decorate one of his flowerbeds.
  4. He's married, and has reproduced.

Comparatively, I'm damn near normal.

He'd get along well with my second room mate, who found a deer skull and used it and a dried rose to decorate our room freshman year.

And yes, he's the only one who got laid that year.

Defleshed is a kind term for it, I believe I will try and work that into conversations today.

#4 was the biggest surprise ; )

So basically you're saying you were doomed from the start? Just kidding, I was raised by odd people myself, I think they're the best.

Did he pop it open and eat the brain? (That is not a joke. My grandfather cooked goat brains once in a while.)

Why waste it on the flowerbeds? That could be turned into a fine tankard. Or a pencil holder. Or even a (albeit rather large) earring.

You only have one? I have more than one just in my immediate family. Although the brother who owned a goat didn't hang it's head off a tree, so you're one up on me. ; )

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? ;)
