As I get ready to put my SkyMall series to bed, I couldn't resist taking a few shots at some fairly obvious targets.
The Slanket
The Slanket is a cousin of everyone's favorite target, The Snuggie. Now, normally, I wouldn't beat this dead horse, except this offers a "two-fer":
- The guy in the ghillie suit on the leather sofa looks like he'd be more comfortable in a tree stand.
- Slanket Siamese? "Siamese"? Really? Isn't that a little politically incorrect? Shouldn't it be a "Conjoined Comforter" or something like that?
Jammerz
I thought that this guy in the red dragon adult footie pajamas was about as goofy as a "man" could possibly look in them.
Then I went to the website and saw "Hobbes" in the tiger striped PJ's.
Per the ad copy, they are "The do anything, wear anywhere -- Footed Pajamas". While I'm certain that many of The People Of Walmart could use the full body coverage, please people, do not take that literally.
I beg you.

Yeah, I'm calling Jammerz out on their "wear anywhere" claim too. Try wearing those things to court. Bad things will happen. Very bad things.
I'm thinking that the "do anything" also doesn't jive with the Jammerz. Unless there's a union-suit style escape hatch in the back.
The guy in the second photo, Mr. red dragon adult footie pajamas? I am betting he just wants the photo shoot over so he can live out his oiled up Asian girl fantasy.
If I found out that my boyfriend wore adult footie pajamas, he'd no longer be my boyfriend. I need a manly man!
You know this cold weather must be getting to my head because I honestly want some of them. They look so cozy...and I live alone so nobody would ever have to know, right? If you notice them on sale, let me know & I'm in for the pink ducks.
Cora – I think next time you're in court, your ex should show up in some solid orange ones. Or leave in one. Whatever.
MJenks – I think the legs are waterproof, you just fill them to overflowing.
SkyDad – And that's as close as he will ever get, as being part of a collage.
J.J. – You saying the Dalmatian jumpsuit isn't manly?
Jan – The dogs would know. And feel your shame. But that said, you would probably rock them like you do every single outfit you wear.
