I Want My ummmm-TV

Hey, does anybody know what's going on?  None of my TV's are working now.

Everything was fine when I went to work, but when I got home, nothing but static.  I fiddled with the rabbit ears, but nada.

No TV??? NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! ** Hey, if you know anyone who was caught unaware by the television analog to digital switch today, please let me know.  I hope this is like the "Millennium Bug" and is really a ton of hype with few actual issues. **

I guess you'll just have to listen to your phonograph to pass the time.

No big deal, pop in that 8-track of 3 dog night and rock it out!

The Trade Federation is blocking all forms of electronic transmissions. This can only mean one thing: invasion.

Do the local broadcasters in your town (Chicago, right?) broadcast HD signals free-to-air?

I hear the radio is making a big come-back this weekend...

@ Fancy: Yeah! Along with books, squaredancing, and watching kids putting on puppet shows in the backyard. Woo!

wigsf - Yes, they do. But I actually have cable, so the transition really means nothing to me.

All - I tried a little experiment with "hidden text" between the sets of "**" up there. Did you hind it okay? I suspect that people who read this in Reader don't have the same effect.

Yep. I saw it, Scope. That nifty blank stretch of blog between the twinkling stars was just a-calling to me to mess with it. MWAHAHAHA!

another solution to the digital switchover, if it's an issue for anybody, is to watch TV on the internet
