The Boogey Man always reminds me of the disco-loving villain who was on The Powerpuff Girls (which was my kid's favorite tv show when she was little ~ and that's probably how she sees the Boogey Man too, I guess.
Either that or K.C. and the Sunshine Band.

My daughters found some big "footprints" in a sand volleyball court at the park the other day.
They wanted me to come see them. I informed them, quite calmly, that they were in fact bear tracks. And the types of bears in this area were picky. They only ate little blonde girls between the hours of 8-10 on Saturdays (it was 9:15).
I told them they should go hide, so as not to be eaten.
People shouldn't ask me to babysit...my own kids...either. ;)
Ha! When Sass and the kids were here we went to the zoo and, of course, we had to ride the train. As the train was pulling into the first dark tunnel I turned around and told them that they needed to watch out for each other while we went through the tunnel because the zoo loses 1 out of every five kids that go through it. As you can see from her story above, they were not phased.

Are you the boogey man?
Nice new banner! I'm really liking it a lot!

You can watch my kids, Scope. Oh, wait.
You just gave me blogging material...
Maybe you shouldn't babysit...but how about writing children's books?
Excellent Scope, I love this.
I just mention that my idea of babysitting is to duct tape the kid to the wall until the parents get back. It works like a charm everytime!
I kinda think you should have left up the love letters banner! Not that I have anything to say about it, duh. Funny post!
I like the new banner. "Scope's Place" sounds like a bar and, reading your Quick Hits, I know where you got your inspiration.
The sibs don't ask me to babysit because they know I'm hell on wheels when people don't listen to me. ; )
People don't ask me to babysit because I'm an irresponsible jackass. At least you have a funny picture.
HAHAHAHAHA!
Oh you can come watch my kids, fo sho!
Frick would most certianly be cowering under the sheets. Frack would be wide eyed and unable to move.
I'd ask you to watch my kids.
But of course I say that now not having any kids and won't be planning on having any in the very near future.
But I'm sure if I had kids I'd let you watch them. From afar...
