There are days when computers catch you off guard, and totally make your day. The other day, I was filling out an on line for to move some computer code (a SQL stored procedure for those that know what that is). Before submitting it, I executed spell-check.
And almost peed myself: SPARTACUS!!!!
That's the best one since it called my friend 'CarrieAnn', 'Carrion'. She didn't find that one DAMN bit funny.

Speaking of SQL, how'd you like to do an inner join on Kate Winslet's ass? Hee.
Computer nerd jokes are fun.
That's awesome! You should have taken the advice.
Poo - I think it would code something like this:
SELECT *
FROM HOLLYWOOD.KWINSLET.ASS REC
INNER JOIN CHICAGO.ECOLLINS.WANKER SND
ON REC.NIGHTMARE = SND.FANTASY
ORDER BY POOBOMBER
Speaking of nerd humor, I have a short story (not for today) that does have me uttering the phrase: "unformatted dump" and how that was oddly taken not how I intended it.
I don't speak computer geekspeak, but an unformatted dump seem awfully uncomfortable.
I love little giggles like this in life.
And then I realize I'm kinda sad because that's pretty much all it takes. ;)
Haha, that's pretty good. Spellcheck comes up with some great things sometimes.
When I worked as a Field Engineer in the 80's at NBI, we had a server that every now and then crashed with the message on the console "Throwing up arms in utter defeat"
Ha! That's great!
That would have totally made my day!
OMG... that is TOO funny!!
It reminds me of the time I accidentally selected the wrong word in spell check but of course it didn't catch my error! Apparently I typed "sorry for any incontinence" instead of "sorry for any inconvenience" ... uh... OOPS!
Some nerd jokes are easy to decipher, you guys...
;) ha ha ha
Yeah, I'm with MelO - I don't speak nerd, but I got THAT.
Haha, SkyDad's comment reminded me of this chat thing I used back in the day - whenever it crashed the error message was "~~WIBBLE!~~ SOMETHING BAD HAS HAPPENED!"
I still say "Something bad has happened".
Spartacus... and all mine ever tells me is "No spelling suggestions."
I'm agreeing with Candy.
J.
Too Funny!
